The Front Porch seeks:

• Press releases
• CDs/Books to review
• Community announcements and events
• Local notables: stores, people, businesses, projects, organizations, artists, etc.
• Anything noteworthy that needs to be shared!

Style Guidelines:

• Times New Roman, size 12
• Microsoft Word or .doc format
• No longer than 250 words
• Contact info should be a part of the 250 word count
• Graphics sent separate and not in the word doc
• Contributor name and subject title at the top of the page

SEND: Submissions must be emailed as an attachment to: frontporch@thejourneymag.com.  Art/Photos must be high resolution (300 dpi) jpeg format. Books, CDs, and DVDs can be mailed to:

TITLE: Please title attachments with the contributor’s last name and the subject of the submission.  (Ex: chafercdreview.doc)

DEADLINE:  Submissions are due the 1st of even numbered months.  (Ex: The deadline for the January issue is December 1.) Submissions past the deadline will be considered for the following publication.  Submissions are not guaranteed publication.
