How would you describe the modality that would be your main service to others.

While Chi is life force energy, Reiki is the subtle, yet powerful energy that abundantly surrounds us and supports us all.
Reiki is at times, indescribable, and unbelievable, but always incredible. Reiki is the originial renewable energy.

When did you first feel the desire to share this with people?

After my first initiation. The imagery was so beautiful, that I was dumbfounded. I was stunned into silence. The experiences of my initiations were remarkable.
I was awestruck that I was called upon to receive this gift; to share this gift with others.

Who would you consider to be your greatest teachers?

Formally, I studied Reiki I and Master Reiki training at the Maryland Center for Reiki Training. I credit Kandi Austin and her co-teaching team.
Kandi creates a physical and spiritual environment that is conducive to learning. Moreover, Kandi’s love and reverence for Reiki is ominipresent
throughout her teaching, without being overbearing, offputting, or offensive.

I’ve also had training and mentoring with Harriet Shager of Intuitive Healing Spirits. Harriet’s classes and counsel have enriched me on my intutitive development journey
by providing wisdom, guidance, and protection, while keeping me grounded and focused.

Informally, my greatest teachers are my clients. I get to have great experiences while in service to others. That is quite gratifying.

What would you like to be doing in 5 years regarding your work

I think at that point, I may be teaching and doing more speaking engagements.

If you would be able to have a conversation with 3 people, living or not, who would that be and why?

This is a tough question.

My grandmother’s grandmothers, to the third degree: I feel like being in their presence would enrich my life in immeasurable ways.

I’m curious what gifts they had, such as clairvoyance, clairsentience, or clairaudience, and how each of the women used her gifts. Were they healers, how were they received? Were they outcasts, or revered?
Having access to their wisdom and strength and stories in-person would be astonishing, but I believe I carry them with me everyday.
