How would you describe the modality that would be your main service to others?

Astrology is the study of the correlation between the movements and positions of planets and celestial bodies — and the events on earth and human affairs.

Through the study and practice of Astrology, Diane Trimbath, Certified Astrologer (C.A., NCGR-PAA), offers personal consultations for others that provide an enhanced self-awareness, an understanding of growth cycles that may be at play in their lives, and practical information to help them move forward through challenges or opportunities with greater clarity. Through a review of client birth charts combined with an understanding of the planetary cycles and complex interaction of energies in the sky, Diane’s interpretation of the ‘language’ can help others apply themselves in the world more effectively, or make decisions ‘with greater conscious awareness’. Armed with insight and timing, clients can apply personalized astrological guidance to their daily life, which may offer a greater advantage to maximize their true potential, and/or provide a peace of mind.

When did you first feel the desire to share this with people?

I was fascinated with Astrology, after I received my first astrological reading over 25 years ago. “It was a learned language that spoke to my soul, and explained the patterns of my life in a way that made sense. It gave me an understanding of ‘myself’ that I never had before. After many years of self- and community-based study, I felt astrology was definitely an important key to understanding the purpose of life itself. The art of astrology can answer the question ’why’ on many levels.”

Eventually, I felt this understanding and practice could help many others, just as it had helped me, and I was led to the National Council of Geocosmic Research (NCGR).
NCGR is a Professional Astrologers Alliance, founded in Massachusetts, USA, which is
dedicated to raising the standards of astrological education and research.

After a few more years of study, while also running a full-time Graphic Design and Creative Communications business, I obtained a Level IV, International Certification as a Professional Consulting Astrologer.

Who would you consider to be your greatest teachers?

I learned the practice of astrology from a variety of gifted teachers…Initially for self-realization and development, from the CHEMAM Center in Richmond Heights, OH founded by Martha and Trevor Mordecai, and then on to study for professional certification, taught under Julene Packer, Certified Astrological Professional (CAP-ISAR) who was the former CEO at the International Academy of Astrology in Cleveland, Ohio.

Demetra George, a professional astrologer (Masters degree in Classics from the University of Oregon), has also been a very influential teacher in my life, both through her book ‘Astrology for Yourself’, which was the first text book I studied, and through traveling to Egypt with her company ‘SacredSites Tours’ as she and Dennis Harness, (Ph.D. Vedic Astrology) guided our international group of astrologers through the teachings of the ancient land. I still often refer to Demetra’s work today.

Astrological Authors Dane Rudhyar, Robert Hand, Liz Greene, David Green and many others have also influenced me over the years.

Other key teachers in my life have been through the works of Joseph Campbell, Carolyn Myss, Yuval Noah Harari, Freddy Silva, Robert Bauval, Graham Hancock, and Alice Bailey.

What would you like to be doing in 5 years regarding your work?

I would like to continue and expand upon the astrological research I have been doing and lecturing about regarding the greater cycles of the planets, patterns, and probable influence regarding recent events on Earth – individually for each of us, and collectively as nations. I would also like to begin to ‘connect the dots’ between the study of the astrological symbolism and timing of the planetary cycles – to the relics left behind from ancient civilizations, the ley lines and sacred sites across the Earth (ex: The Great Pyramid of Giza, Stonehenge, etc).
To discover ‘why’ key sites were built at the intersections of the electromagnetic grid system around our planet, the stories the ancients left behind for mankind and the energetic influence these sites – in conjunction with their relationship to the heavens – may have on the Earth, and its inhabitants.

If you were able to have a conversation with 3 people living or not, who would they be and why them?

Ultimately, I have always been drawn to learning and understanding the bigger picture – underlying ‘why we are here and what is our purpose as humans (or souls) here on Earth’. If I would be able to have a conversation with 3 people, I would choose:

  1. ThothEgyptian scribe of the gods and master of both physical and divine law, credited with making the calculations for the establishment of the heavens, stars, Earth, and everything in them.

  1. Pythagoras, ancient Greek Philosopher c. 570 – c. 495 BC, who believed that numbers themselves and the symmetry of numeric harmony explained the true nature of rules throughout the Universe. He established the philosophical concept that regarded the proportions in the movements of celestial bodies – the Sun, Moon, and planets – as a form of music.

  1. Johannes Kepler, 16th-century astronomer – who later developed Pythagoras’ theory, but did not believe this “music” to be audible. He felt that it could nevertheless be heard by the soul. Through discovery of patterns and harmonic laws in the heavens, he solved the mystery of elliptical planetary orbits, and is known to be the founder of celestial mechanics.
